Jim Sharman, headmaster of the Gamot Cogon Waldorf School in the Philippines, informed us that with the support of the IHF, an association of Steiner Waldorf schools has been established. The Acacia Waldorf School, Manila Waldorf School, Gamot Cogon Waldorf School, and Kolisko Waldorf School, the four largest schools, have collaborated to form the Steiner Waldorf Education Association Philippines. The association aims to support and improve Steiner Waldorf education in the Philippines. They will guide smaller Steiner schools in the country to gain more foothold and grow into viable schools.

The association also aims to focus on the education of teachers and parents. In recent years, several successful teachers' weeks have been organized. From now on, they will do this from the association.
